The fun is over. I’m back from my cross country flight and I’ve finished primary flight training! The trip was a blast. The original plan to go out west was cancelled due to weather, so we wound up heading up to Savannah, Georgia and then down to Tampa, Florida (and a few stops in between). All of our destinations were a lot of fun, and the flying was great. I learned a lot and have a lot more confidence in my abilities as a pilot. If there are other SNAs reading this, GO OUT for your cross-country! You will really be missing out if you fly locally for your last group of flights.
If you haven’t been looking at the website for a while, you can see some shots from the trip below. With the help of my camera-phone, my website software, and a wonderful wife at home, I was able to post the pictures all along the way from the trip.
I am supposed to select my aircraft pipeline (helicopters, jets, or props) on December 2nd, but it looks like that may get moved up to this week. Stay tuned, and I’ll have all the exciting news soon!
