First let me say that my laptop is not working so it may be a while between entries. It is hard for me to get to the computer at the hospital when it means leaving my Sonia.
I also want to update and tell you that Sonia is feeling a lot better. She had her first outing and she did so well. It was yesterday – Friday – and it was such a treat. I have lots of pictures that I will post just as soon as the laptop is fixed. The wind blew in her fuzzy hair and she was just so cute. It was special for me to have strangers enjoy my baby. That is a treat that I took for granted with Faye, but that I have really missed with Sonia. It was nice for people to look at her and comment on her cuteness instead her illness. The doctor who took us out said he would be happy to take her out weekly, as long as the weather allows. I am looking forward to this treat!
All else is well with us. Sonia and I are looking forward to getting our own room soon – something the nurses are working on now. We can’t wait to have our owns space in which we can bond and be together.

I knew your outing would be spectacular! Here’s to many more just like that!
I can’t wait to see the newest pictures.
Wow! Sonia’s huge and so cute! She is really starting to look like you, Shannon. It’s wonderful how well Sonia is doing and that she can do more and more “regular” stuff like going out for a stroll and just being held by mommmy. I can’t wait to see more pictures!
That is so wonderful that she got to go outside. She is adorable with all her fuzzy hair! You can really tell that she’s put on some weight since the last pictures. Go Sonia!

Love always Mimi(Mom)
Shannon, I am so happy to hear that you were able to go on an outing with Sonia. I’m sure she loved to feel the sun upon her face and to hear the noises and hustle of the world. I hope that you can get some photos up soon. I love to watch her grow! I hope to talk with you soon. Rachael~
Just a quick hello to let you know that today, Scott said a mishaberach for Sonia and I said a special prayer with Cayla and Dani in English. We are certain that our prayers will be answered.
